As part of our wedding we are raising funds to donate to a charity close to our hearts.
Canberra Pet Rescue is a not-for-profit rescuing animals in need across Canberra (like Clover was). They primarily save kittens in shelters and kittens born on the streets. They find foster and forever homes for these kittens once they have received the necessary medical care. Canberra Pet Rescue is run entirely by volunteers and needs help to continue their amazing work. More information about them can be found on their website.

Clover's Story

Clover and her litter were found on the streets and were very unwell. One of Clover's siblings was battling a life-threatening sepsis that was attacking her body with a necrotising bacteria. Usually this bacteria spreads across the litter and can kill the entire litter. Unfortunately, Clover's sibling didn't survive, but the rest of the litter did. Because of this the litter became known as the 'Lucky Litter'. This is how Clover got her name! However, we were very lucky to be able to adopt Clover and give her a forever home.
